When I realized that I’d left my umbrella at Du Pain, I rushed back only to find that a fresh batch of my two favorite pastries had just come out of the oven.
It was meant to be.
Obviously I had to get one of each.

And then the rain turned to sunshine.
I walked by a little shop called Château Sablé and couldn’t resist trying one.
